Eurobodalla Fiber and Textile Artists Group (EFTAG) is holding its annual show, with the theme in 2022 being “Ascent.”
The annual EFTAG show is an opportunity for local artisans to showcase and sell their various creations.
Julie Brennan, an EFTAG member, said each show has been a great joy for local artists because the artwork was created to be looked at.
“The artist communicates,” Ms. Brennan said. “You need people to see the work.
“Art can help people see something in a new way that they may not have seen before.”
She said the exhibition pushed the boundaries of what can be done with fabric.
“There are so many ways to work with textiles,” she said.
